1. Our position
For purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, the California Privacy Rights Act, and analogous laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, and other states:
- We do not sell personal information about consumers in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration;
- We do not share personal information about consumers for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- We do not engage in targeted advertising based on personal information processed by us;
- We do not engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, beyond the limited cases (such as transaction risk-scoring and sanctions screening) disclosed in our Privacy Notice.
2. Why this page exists
The California Consumer Privacy Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.135) and certain other state-privacy laws require any business that handles consumer personal information to provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in a clear and conspicuous location, regardless of whether the business actually sells or shares personal information. The purpose of the link is to give consumers an unambiguous, single-click way to express the preference, and to put businesses on notice of any consumer who wishes to opt out at any time.
This page is that link. It exists to provide you with a clear, unconditional statement that PayServices Bank does not sell or share personal information, and to record any opt-out preference you wish to register against the (currently null) future possibility that we ever do.
3. How to register an opt-out preference
If you wish to register an opt-out preference with us — even though we do not currently sell or share personal information — you may do so in any of the following ways:
- By email: send a request to info@payservices.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share";
- By mail: PayServices Bank, Attn: Privacy, 950 W Bannock Street, Suite 1100, Boise, Idaho 83702-6140, USA;
- In-app: from the ITAM application's privacy settings;
- By Global Privacy Control: we honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal (GPC) where it is required by applicable state regulation. If your browser sends the GPC signal, we treat that as an opt-out request for any cookies, tags, or trackers that would otherwise be subject to the opt-out right.
We will record your preference and apply it to any future processing that would otherwise constitute a sale or sharing of personal information.
